A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE 2021 ANNUAL BUDGET OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS BY ADDING THREE POLICE OFFICER POSITIONS AT A U1, STEP 2 PAY GRADE

WHEREAS, Resolution Number 20:244 adopted the 2021 City Budget; and

WHEREAS, a need has been identified to modify the City of Jonesboro's current Budget to add additional Police Officers to provide screening services, bailiffs, court security, and other coverage for District Court and city facilities.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

Section 1: The 2021 Budget is hereby amended by a sum of $41,126 including $29,238 in salaries, plus benefits of $11,888 to provide for an increase in the department budget line items.
