A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE 2021 BUDGET TO INCLUDE GRANT FUNDING FROM THE DELTA REGIONAL AUTHORITY TO EXPAND RAIL INFRASTRUCTURE

WHEREAS, Resolution 20:154 authorized the Mayor and City Clerk to accept the award and to enter into an agreement with the Delta Regional Authority (DRA); and

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro was awarded a grant from the Delta Regional Authority (DRA) in the amount of $509,090 with no local match required to expand rail infrastructure at the Craighead Technology Park; and

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed the 2021 budget in RES-20:244, which will need to be amended to reflect the award amount.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

Section 1:  The 2021 budget is hereby amended to include the $509,090 grant from the Delta Regional Authority for the expansion of rail infrastructure at the Craighead Technology Park

PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 16TH DAY OF MARCH, 2021.
