A RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING ABANDONING AND VACATING A UTILITY EASEMENT IN LOT 1, RED WOLF CORNER REPLAT AS REQUESTED BY ERVING RIDGE CONSULTING & DEVELOPMENT, LLC

WHEREAS, Erving Ridge Consulting & Development, LLC, has filed a petition with the City Clerk of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, requesting that the City vacate a utility easement in:
LOT 1, RED WOLF CORNER REPLAT OF PART OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 28 TOWNSHIP 14 NORTH, RANGE 4 EAST. BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: THE EAST 28.5 FEET OF THE WEST 110 FEET OF LOT 1 OF THE REDWOLF CORNER REPLAT, CONTAINING 0.07 ACRES
WHEREAS, the petition has been presented to the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, Arkansas law requires notice of such public hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the City Clerk is directed to publish a notice advising the public of such request to vacate a utility easement, and that this matter will be heard before the City Council on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 5:25 p.m. at the Municipal Building, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
