A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH BLUE SKY TECHNOLOGIES FOR VoIP PHONE AND FAX SOLUTION

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro sent a Request for Proposal (RFP) for VoIP phone system and fax solution; and,
WHEREAS, the Information Systems Department reviewed the firms that submitted the RFP for the said services; and,
WHEREAS, the business that was the low bidder and is recommended to provide phone and fax services for 36 months is Blue Sky Technologies; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has negotiated with Blue Sky Technologies a one-time fee of $105,838.50 for VoIP and Fax equipment, and $699.00 a month for Local Phone and fax service; and,
WHEREAS, funding for the execution of the contract shall come from the 2020 Information Systems budget and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the contract documents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
Section 1. That the City of Jonesboro shall enter into a contract with Blue Sky Technologies for VoIP/Local Phone Services for a negotiated fee of $699 per month for 36 months for local phone and fax service and a one-time fee of $105,838.50 for VoIP and Fax equipment.
Section 2. That funding for the execution of the contract shall come from the 2020 Information Systems budget and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the contract documents.
Section 3. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
