RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, TO PLACE A MUNICIPAL LIEN ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 700 PLUM HILL, JONESBORO, ARKANSAS 72401, PARCEL 01-143014-03700, OWNED BY LERETA

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: A part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 1, Township 14 North, Range 3 East, Craighead County, Arkansas, more particularly described as follows: Begin at the northeast corner of said Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter; thence North 89 degrees 39 minutes West along the 40 acre line 208.7 feet; thence South 192.2 feet; thence South 89 degrees 46 minutes East 208.8 feet to the 40 acre line; thence North along the 40 acre line 194.3 feet to the point of beginning proper, and being subject to public road right of way on the North and East sides thereof, and a power, and being subject to public road right of way on the North and East sides thereof, and a power line right of way across the Southeast Corner thereof, and subject to Bill of Assurance recorded in Deed Record 234 Page 5 at Jonesboro, Arkansas
WHEREAS, LERETA, the owner of record, was properly notified of a code violation at 700 Plum Hill, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401, and refused to remove or correct the conditions identified by the code enforcement officer of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and,
WHEREAS, the code enforcement officer corrected the code violation using city funds in the amount of $215; and;
WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro seeks to perfect a lien against the affected property to cover the cost of the work pursuant to A.C.A. 14-15-903; and,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THAT:
1) The city should proceed with placing a lien on the property located at 700 Plum Hill, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401.
