RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, TO PLACE A MUNICIPAL LIEN ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1809 IRBY, PARCEL 01-144223-08700, JONESBORO, ARKANSAS 72401, OWNED BY HEIDY ARRIAZA

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: The North 65 feet of Lot 11E and the South 25 feet of Lot 12F of Irby Resubdivision of Lots 7A, 8B, 9C, 10D, 11E, 12F, 13G, 14H, 15I, 16J, 17K, 18L, 19M and 20N of Cox Addition to the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, (formerly Town of Nettleton, Arkansas), more particularly described as follows: Begin at the North corner of Lot 12F which is also the corner between Lots 12F and 13G on Irby Street; thence run Southeasterly along Irby Street 75 feet to the point of beginning; thence Southeasterly along Irby Street 90 feet; thence Southwesterly at right angles to Irby Street 100 feet; thence in a Northwesterly direction parallel to Irby Street 90 feet; thence Northeasterly 100 feet to the point of beginning.
WHEREAS, Heidy Arriaza, the owner of record, was properly notified of a code violation at 1809 Irby, Jonesboro, AR 72401, and refused to remove or correct the conditions identified by the code enforcement officer of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, the code enforcement officer corrected the code violation using city funds in the amount of $565.00; and
WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro seeks to perfect a lien against the affected property to cover the cost of the work pursuant to A.C.A 14-15-903.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THAT:
Section 1: The city should proceed with placing a lien on the property located at 1809 Irby, Jonesboro, AR 72401.
