LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Lot 31A of Replat of Lot 31 of Southview Acres, Jonesboro, Arkansas, as shown by plat recorded in Plat Cabinet “C” page 123, subject to Bill of Assurance recorded in Mortgage Record 364 page 522, and Amendments recorded in Deed Record 370 page 194, Deed Record 374 page 386 and in Deed Record 553 page 476 at Jonesboro, Arkansas, and to easements as shown on recorded plat, together with an ingress/egress easement along the West 35 feet to Lot 31B of Replat of Lot 31 of Southview Acres, Jonesboro, Arkansas, as shown by plat recorded in Plat Cabinet “C” page 123.

WHEREAS, Jay Parnell, the owner of record, was properly notified of a code violation at 1013 W. Lawson, Jonesboro, AR 72404, and refused to remove or correct the conditions identified by the code enforcement officer of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and,
WHEREAS, the code enforcement officer corrected the code violation using city funds in the amount of $1,995.11; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro seeks to perfect a lien against the affected property to cover the cost of the work pursuant to A.C.A 14-15-903; and,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THAT:
1. The city should proceed with placing a lien on the property located at 1013 W. Lawson, Jonesboro, AR 72404.
