A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO AMEND THE 2020 STREET CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET FOR THE STATEWIDE TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (STIP) JONESBORO AREA PARTNERING PROJECTS

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro passed Resolution No. 18:082 agreeing to partner with the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ArDOT) on the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) and committed to contribute the partnering funds for the projects as they are let for bid; and
WHEREAS, the bid letting for Job 100837 (I-555/Hwy 49 Interchange Improvements) will be August 5, 2020; and
WHEREAS, the funds for these projects have been earmarked but Job 100837 (I-555/Hwy 49 Interchange Improvements) was not included in the 2020 Street Capital Improvement budget; and
WHEREAS, the 2020 Street Capital Improvement Budget passed by Resolution No. 19:201 will need to be amended to include the following:
02-170-0759-05 Job 100837 $1,400,000.00
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
SECTION 1. The 2020 Street Capital Improvement Budget is hereby amended to include the above referenced obligated amounts.
