RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT TO PURCHASE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 409 NORTH FISHER STREET FROM THE ARKANSAS STATE LAND COMMISSIONER

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas desires to enter into a contract to purchase the property located at 409 North Fisher Street, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401 owned by Paul D. Gambill; and,
WHEREAS, the cost for the purchase of said property is $2,243.36 plus normal closing costs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
1. The City of Jonesboro, Arkansas shall contract with the Arkansas State Land Commissioner for the purchase of property located at 409 North Fisher Street, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401 for the purchase price of $2,243.36 plus normal closing costs.
2. A copy of the Petition to Redeem is attached hereto.
The Mayor, Harold Perrin, and City Clerk, Donna Jackson, are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
