A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE DESTRUCTION OF RECORDS BY THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH RESOLUTION 93:1369

WHEREAS, the City Council of Jonesboro, Arkansas did on the 1st day of November, 1993, adopt Resolution 93:1369 that established procedures for the retention of financial and accounting records of the Finance Department, in accordance with A.C.A. 14-59-114; and,
WHEREAS, the Finance Department staff has determined that certain records are no longer needed for review, and destruction of such records will not be in violation of A.C.A. 14-59-114.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THAT:
Section 1: The documents listed in the attached affidavit are eligible for destruction.
Section 2: The Finance Department is hereby authorized to destroy the documents according to the manner described.
