RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH NORTHEAST ARKANSAS INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION (NEAIDC) FOR FUNDING OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SERVICES

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has received a contract from Northeast Arkansas Industrial Development Commission (NEAIDC); and

WHEREAS, this contract is for the purpose of providing economic development services to the City of Jonesboro in the amount of $394,750.00; and

WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Jonesboro that the City Council authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute this contract; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THAT:

Section 1: This contract is for the purpose of obtaining economic development services from Northeast Arkansas Industrial Development Commission.

Section 2: That this contract is for the best interest of the residents of the City of Jonesboro.

Section 3: The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute said contract.
