A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ACCEPT THE DONATION OF PROPERTIES FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAKING DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro desires the accept the donation of Lots 5 and 6 of Green Acres Subdivision (First Re-Plat) located on Darlene Street and owned by Oscar and Rosa Ascurra; and

WHEREAS, the city of Jonesboro agrees to pay $259.00 to Lender’s Title Company for each property ($518.00 total) for Title Search, Owner’s Title Insurance and Recording of Deed.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

Section 1:  :  The City of Jonesboro, Arkansas accepts the donation of Lots 5 and 6 of Green Acres Subdivision (First Re-Plat) owned by Oscar and Rosa Ascurra.

Section 2:  The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
