AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE JONESBORO QUALITY OF LIFE AND CONNECTIVITY MASTER PLAN

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas desires to improve the quality of life of its citizens; and
WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro believes that increasing connectivity will make it safer for the citizens and guests of the city to travel from place to place on foot or by bicycle; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to ACA 14-55-207, public notice was given of the City’s intent to adopt said master plan by reference, and advised that three (3) copies of the document were on file and available for public review and examination in the Office of the City Clerk, and
WHEREAS, three public hearings were held on these guidelines to allow for input from the citizens on the formation of this plan; and
WHEREAS, all comments, views, suggestions and recommendations have been considered and addressed.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:
The Jonesboro Quality of Life and Connectivity Master Plan is hereby adopted.
