RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO ESTABLISHING THE WOLVERINE PROPERTY DOWNTOWN CORRIDOR COMMITTEE AS RECOMMENDED BY MAYOR HAROLD PERRIN

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro will establish the Wolverine Property Downtown Corridor Committee to be charged with a redevelopment plan of the Wolverine property and the entire ASU to downtown corridor to include the areas of the Bike/Pedestrian Route, Aggie Road, and other improvements; and

 

WHEREAS, the Wolverine Property Downtown Corridor Committee will bring recommendations to the Mayor to present to council for approval; and

 

WHEREAS, the members of this committee are as follows:

 

Chair-Mike Downing, Jonesboro Unlimited; Jake Rice, GM of City Water & Light; Jerry Morgan, Chair of the A&P Commission, Ted Herget, Downtown Investor; Kelly Damphousse, ASU Chancellor; Chris Barber, President & CEO of St. Bernards Healthcare; Chris Moore, Council member; Derrel Smith, City Planner for the City of Jonesboro

 

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO THAT:

 

Section 1.  That the recommended appointments as listed above are hereby confirmed to serve on the Wolverine Property Downtown Corridor Committee.

 

Section 2.  That members of this board shall have terms that will expire when responsibilities are satisfied.
