A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO TO SET THE UNIT PRICE FEE FOR SIDEWALK

WHEREAS, the City Council adopted ORD-17:027 regarding the construction of sidewalks in the City of Jonesboro; and,
WHEREAS, the ordinance states the contribution in lieu of construction fee shall be calculated as a fixed amount per linear foot based on the most current weighted average to build sidewalks according to the Arkansas Department of Transportation pricing list; and,
WHEREAS, the council desires to establish the rate based upon the most current rate from the Arkansas Department of Transportation pricing list, with the knowledge that said rate shall fluctuate based upon their most recent calculations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
Section 1: The in lieu of construction fee shall be based on the most current weighted average to build sidewalks according to the Arkansas Department of Transportation pricing list each year.
Section 2. The City Engineer shall have said rate published on the City of Jonesboro website each new year when it is received from the Arkansas Department of Transportation.
