A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE STARTING SALARY OF $45,122 FOR POLICE SHOP SUPERVISOR APPLICANT AND TO BE MADE RETROACTIVE TO JANUARY 1, 2018

Body

WHEREAS, Resolution Number 09:0201 adopted the City Salary Plan & Administration Policy; and

 

WHEREAS, the Salary Plan and Administration Policy requires any salary recommendation greater than Step 5 of any grade to be approved by the Mayor and City Council; and

 

WHEREAS, the Police Shop Supervisor position has a pay grade of 113; and

 

WHEREAS, an applicant is being considered for the Police Shop Supervisor position possessing qualifications and years of experience sufficient enough to justify entry at Grade 113 Step 11;

 

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE JONESBORO CITY COUNCIL, that the applicant’s starting salary for the position of Police Shop Supervisor be approved at $45,122.00, which is Step 11 for Grade 113 as established by the Salary Schedule and Administration Policy and the salary be made retroactive to 1/2/2018.
