A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A CHANGE ORDER WITH RITTER COMMUNICATIONS, INC. TO INCREASE INTERNET SPEED

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Ritter Communications, Inc. currently have an agreement for internet and other services; and
WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has added various products which put a high demand on our internet services and there is a need to increase our internet speed to meet said demand; and
WHEREAS, the Agreement needs to be amended and the Change Order is attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, Ritter Communications, Inc. is providing the increased speed at no charge until December 31, 2017, and the increased cost will be reflected in the 2018 budget.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
1. The City of Jonesboro approves the Change Order with Ritter Communications, Inc. to provide increased internet speed to the City. That the Change Order is attached hereto and the terms are set out therein.
2. That the increased cost of $2,500.00 per month shall begin in January 2018 and shall be reflected in the 2018 budget.
3. The Mayor, Harold Perrin and City Clerk, Donna Jackson are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
