A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER TO CIVIL ENGINEERING ASSOCIATES, LLC TO PERFORM PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro desires to issue a purchase order for professional engineering services for a proposed city-wide bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure plan in Jonesboro, Arkansas in the amount of $138,370.00; and,
WHEREAS, based on annual Statement of Qualifications submitted, the firm selected to perform professional engineering services for the above mentioned project is Civil Engineering Associates, LLC; and,
WHEREAS, Civil Engineering Associates, LLC has agreed to provide the services detailed in the attached proposal; and,
WHEREAS, the scope of work outlined in the agreement will address the comments from the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department; and,
WHEREAS, funding for the execution of the purchase order shall come from reallocation of unused Capital Improvement budget and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the attached proposal.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
Section 1: That the City of Jonesboro shall issue of purchase order to Civil Engineering Associates, LLC to perform professional engineering services for for a proposed city-wide bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure plan in Jonesboro, Arkansas; and,
Section 2: Funding for the execution of the purchase order shall come from unused funds in the Capital Improvement budget and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the attached proposal.
Section 3: The Mayor is hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this purchase order.
