A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER TO PICKERING TO PERFORM PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro desires to issue a purchase order for professional engineering services for the proposed improvements for Lacy Park Access Road from Dan Avenue (SR 91) south to the City Property Line in Jonesboro, Arkansas; and,
WHEREAS, based on annual Statement of Qualifications submitted, the firm selected to perform professional engineering services for the above mentioned project is Pickering; and,
WHEREAS, Pickering has agreed to provide the services detailed in the attached proposal; and,
WHEREAS, funding for the execution of the purchase order shall come from the Capital Improvement budget and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the attached proposal.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
Section 1: That the City of Jonesboro shall issue a purchase order to Pickering to perform professional engineering services for the proposed improvements for Lacy Park Access Road from Dan Avenue (SR 91) south to the City Property Line in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Section 2: Funding for the execution of the purchase order shall come from the Capital Improvement budget and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the attached proposal.
Section 3: The Mayor is hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to issue a purchase order.
