A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY OF JONESBORO TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN AMENDMENT WITH MICROSOFT TO REPLACE 450 STANDARD 2016 LICENSES WITH 450 OFFICE PROFESSIONAL PLUS 2016 LICENSE

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas purchased Microsoft Office Standard 2016; and

WHEREAS, Microsoft is requesting the City of Jonesboro upgrade those license; and

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro agrees to purchase those license; and

WHEREAS, the money is being appropriated with ORD-17:049

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

Section 1:  Microsoft requests the City of Jonesboro upgrade their current license to Office Professional Plus 2016.

Section 2.  The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
