A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE 2016 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PUBLIC SERVICE PROGRAM AGREEMENT WITH HISPANIC COMMUNITY SERVICES, INC.

WHEREAS, the City has awarded through its FY 2016 CDBG program $16,000.00 to Hispanic Community Services, Inc. for its After School Program; and
WHEREAS, the City desires the sub-recipient to carry out a stated portion of the programs described in its Annual Action Plan and also stated in the Scope of Services within the agreement; and
WHEREAS, the sub-recipient must represent that they have the capacity to do so and are willing to carry out those portions of the Community Development Block Grant program described in its application and in the Scope of Services in this agreement.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
SECTION 1: The Mayor, Harold Perrin and City Clerk Donna Jackson are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate said agreement.
