AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE 2016 ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE PURPOSE OF ADDING A SECOND TRAFFIC SIGNAL TECHNICIAN TO THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro adopted the 2016 annual budget in Ordinance Number 15:069.
WHEREAS, there is a need to add an additional Traffic Signal Technician to the Engineering Department for proper maintenance and repair of traffic signals.
WHEREAS, this position will be paid for from the 2016 Engineering Budget with no adjustments to the salary budget line item.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
SECTION 1: The position of Traffic Signal Technician be added to the 2016 Annual Budget at a Grade of 110.
