A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH ONSOLVE, LLC TO PROVIDE THE "CODE-RED" EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION SERVICE FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS

WHEREAS, there is a need for an Emergency Notification System (ENS) to alert the citizens of the City of Jonesboro of emergencies, severe weather and/or other important notifications by SMS text, voice calls, email, social media and other notification methods; and
WHEREAS, ten (10) bids were received and publicly opened on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 @ 2:00pm to provide this service; and
WHEREAS, OnSolve, LLC was the lowest bidder, that met the minimum qualifications requested, at a cost of $10,250.00 per year; and
WHEREAS, the annual cost to cover this service is included in the 2022 budget for E-911,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: The City of Jonesboro, Arkansas enter into a three (3) year agreement with OnSolve, LLC to provide the “CodeRED” Emergency Notification Service to the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
SECTION 2: Mayor Harold Copenhaver and City Clerk April Leggett are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas to execute all documents necessary to effectuate the agreement.
