NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO THAT: SECTION 1: CWL is hereby requested to contribute $500,000 out of its surplus funds to be used toward the purchase of a new fire truck for the Jonesboro Fire Department. SECTION 2: That Mayor Harold Copenhaver and City Clerk April Leggett are authorized to execute the necessary documents to effectuate this contribution. PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 7TH DAY OF JUNE 2022.

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro needs to purchase a new fire truck for the Fire Department which will cost $665,248; and
