A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CONDITIONAL USE REQUEST FOR RIVER ADVERTISING, 2701 PAULA DRIVE, JONESBORO, ARKANSAS

WHEREAS, the City Council has authority to reverse a decision of the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the minutes, documents, exhibits and other items contained in the record of the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission’s meeting on October 26, 2021 regarding the Conditional Use request for 2701 Paula Drive, Jonesboro, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heard arguments and other matters regarding whether to approve the Conditional Use request for 2701 Paula Drive, Jonesboro, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is in the best interest of the City of Jonesboro that the decision of the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission be reversed and that the Conditional Use request for 2701 Paula Drive, Jonesboro, Arkansas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
1. The decision of the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission is hereby reversed and the Conditional Use request for 2701 Paula Drive, Jonesboro, Arkansas is approved.
