A RESOLUTION SCHEDULING A HEARING ON THE APPROVAL OF THE CONDITIONAL USE REQUEST FOR RIVER ADVERTISING, 2701 PAULA DRIVE, JONESBORO, ARKANSAS

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission (“MAPC”) denied the approval of the Conditional Use request for exchange of static display billboards to digital display billboards for 2701 Paula Drive, Jonesboro, Arkansas on October 26, 2021; and
WHEREAS, River Advertising filed a timely Notice of Appeal of the MAPC’s decision denying the Conditional Use request for exchange of static display billboards to digital display billboards for 2701 Paula Drive, Jonesboro; and
WHEREAS, the appeal of the MAPC decision needs to be set for a hearing before the City Council of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
1. The appeal of the decision of the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission on River Advertising’s Conditional Use request for exchange of static display billboards to digital display billboards for 2701 Paula Drive, Jonesboro, Arkansas will be heard before the City Council on December 7, 2021 at 5:20 p.m. at the Municipal Center, 300 S. Church Street, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 16TH DAY OF NOVEMBER 2021.
