A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE WEST END NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION (WENA) TO CONTINUE WORK ON CWL PARK BLAZING TO FITNESS TRAIL

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, has allocated FY2021 CDBG Program funds for the WEST END NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION (WENA) to receive $11,716.20 to provide adequate and accessible ways to increase healthy lifestyles to the families and youth in the neighborhood.; and,
WHEREAS, the City desires the sub recipient to carry out its stated objectives for the public services program as prescribed in the CDBG Annual Action Plan and in the scope of services within the said agreement; and,
WHEREAS, the sub recipient assumes responsibility for administering Federal funds in a manner consistent with underlying agreements, program objectives, and the terms and conditions of the Community Development Block Grant Program as described in this agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
SECTION I: The Mayor, Harold Copenhaver, and City Clerk, April Leggett, are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate said agreement.
