A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO GRANT AN EASEMENT AND RIGHT OF WAY AT 3511 EAST HIGHLAND DRIVE TO CENTERPOINT ENERGY RESOURCES CORP., d/b/a CENTERPOINT ENERGY ARKANSAS GAS, A DELAWARE CORPORATION

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas desires to grant an easement and right of way to Centerpoint Energy Resources Corp., d/b/a Centerpoint Energy Arkansas Gas, a Delaware Corporation for the purposes to lay, maintain, alter, repair, operate, replace, change the size of and remove pipe, gas lines, pipelines and other equipment and materials deemed necessary by grantee for the transportation of oil or gas, or products of oil or gas and to construct meter houses and other appurtenances, including cathodic protection facilities within said easement and right of way, on, over and through certain lands situated in the county of Craighead, State of Arkansas, as described in the attached Easement and Right of Way Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas to grant an easement and right of way described in the attached Easement and Right of Way Agreement to Centerpoint Energy Resources Corp., d/b/a Centerpoint Energy Arkansas Gas, a Delaware Corporation.
