A RESOLUTION TO FILL THE UNEXPIRED TERM FOR JERRY REECE ON THE BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENTS

WHEREAS, Jerry Reece was appointed to the Board of Zoning Adjustments on August 20, 2019 as a representative of the planning commission, to a three year term; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Reece has offered his resignation from the BZA; and

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Area Planning Commission has elected Kevin Bailey to represent the MAPC on the BZA, and Mayor Copenhaver has recommended Kevin Bailey to fill the unexpired term of Mr. Reece.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THAT:

SECTION 1: Kevin Bailey is appointed for fill the unexpired term of Jerry Reece on the Board of Zoning Adjustments with an expiration date of May 7, 2022.
