A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH W. WILLIAM GRAHAM JR., INC. TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO INDUSTRIAL LEAD RAIL SPUR (DOT #917584G) AT MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DRIVE PROJECT (2020:96)

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro desires to enter into a professional services agreement for the City of Jonesboro Industrial Lead Rail Spur (DOT #917587G) at Martin Luther King Jr. Drive At-Grade Rail Crossing; and
WHEREAS, the Selection Committee has determined that W. William Graham Jr., Inc. is the most qualified firm for the project; and
WHEREAS, W. William Graham Jr., Inc. has agreed to provide professional services for the City of Jonesboro Industrial Lead Rail Spur (DOT #917587G) at Martin Luther King Jr. Drive At-Grade Rail Crossing project as described in the attached agreement; and
WHEREAS, the funding for this project is 100% reimbursable from the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the attached agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS;
Section 1. That the City of Jonesboro shall accept and enter into an agreement with W. William Graham Jr., Inc. to provide professional services for the City of Jonesboro Industrial Lead Rail Spur (DOT #917587G) at Martin Luther King Jr. Drive At-Grade Rail Crossing project.
Section 2. The funding for the execution of the agreement is 100% reimbursable from the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the attached agreement.
Section 3. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
