RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF JONESBORO TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH THE SUNDERLAND FOUNDATION FOR A DONATION TOWARD CONSTRUCTION OF THE VETERANS VILLAGE OUTREACH CENTER

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has been awarded $100,000 from the Sunderland Foundation; and

WHEREAS, funds will be applied toward the construction of the Veterans Village Outreach Center which will house essential supportive services to Veterans who served the country; and

WHEREAS, the grant is 100% funded with private funds and there is no cost to the City of Jonesboro.

NOW; Therefore, be it resolved by City Council of the City of Jonesboro that:

SECTION 1: The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized by the City of Jonesboro City Council to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this grant.
