A RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING TO ABANDON AND VACATE THE RIGHT-OF-WAY AND DRAINAGE EASEMENTS IN THE JACKSON MINOR PLAT OF PART OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 11, TOWNSHIP 14 NORTH, RANGE 4 EAST BY GEORGE HAMMAN ON BEHALF OF JACKSON INNOVATION, LLC

WHEREAS, Jackson Innovation, LLC, being private owners, have filed a petition with the City Clerk of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, requesting that the City abandon and vacate the right-of-way and drainage easements in the Jackson Minor Plat of part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 11, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, as described below:
LEGAL DESCRIPTION - RIGHT-OF-WAY AND EASEMENT ABANDONMENT:
The south twenty feet of Lot 3 Jackson Minor Plat of part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 11, Township 14 North, Range 4 East.
WHEREAS, the petition has been presented to the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, Arkansas law requires notice of such public hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the City Clerk is directed to publish a notice advising the public of such request to vacate and abandon the above mentioned right-of-way and drainage and utility easements, and that this matter will be heard before the City Council on December 17, 2019 at 5:20 p.m. at the Municipal Building, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
