RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, TO APPOINT MEMBERS TO THE OVERSIGHT INTEGRITY COUNCIL

WHEREAS, Ordinance 19:029 created the Oversight Integrity Council for the purpose of identifying, researching, investigating, reviewing, and prioritizing the potential future public improvements, subject to the final approval of the City Council, for the following purposes: the arts, aquatics, beautification, libraries, museums, park facilities, recreational facilities, sidewalks, and trail systems; and,
WHEREAS, the Oversight Integrity Council shall consist of nine (9) qualified electors of the City including two (2) members of the City Council and seven (7) additional persons. In addition to the two (2) members appointed from the City Council, six (6) members of the Council shall be citizens of Jonesboro recommended by the mayor and approved by the City Council, and one (1) member of the Council shall be appointed as an at large member of the Committee, who shall be the chair of the Advertising and Promotion Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO THAT:
SECTION 1: The six citizen members shall be William Harrison, Lindsey Woodard, Jack Harrington, Brookshield Laurent, Brock Ferguson, and William Edwards.
SECTION 2: The two members appointed from the City Council shall be Joseph Hafner and Charles Coleman.
SECTION 3: The at large member who is the Chairman of the Jonesboro Advertising and Promotion Committee is Jerry Morgan.
