RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO ACCEPT THE BID AND ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH OLYMPUS CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR THE ALTERATION OF THE JONESBORO RECREATIONAL CENTER

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro desires to accept the bid and enter into a contract for the alteration of the Jonesboro Recreational Center;
WHEREAS, Olympus Construction, Inc. has bid $249,451.00 for the alteration of the Jonesboro Recreational Center;
WHEREAS, fund for the execution of the contract shall come from m the Capital Improvements budget and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the contract documents.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS;
Section 1. That the City of Jonesboro shall accept the bid and enter into a contract with Olympus Construction, Inc. in the amount of $249,451.00 for the alteration of the Jonesboro Recreational Center.
Section 2. That funding for the execution of the contract shall come from the Capital Improvements budget and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the contract.
Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
