RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS AUTHORIZING CONCILIATION AGREEMENT WITH U.S. EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY COMMISSION

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro was the Respondent with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and;
WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into a Conciliation Agreement with the EEOC and the charging party, and;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro that:
Section One: That Mayor Harold Perrin and City Clerk Donna Jackson are authorized to execute a Conciliation Agreement, settling an EEOC complaint against the City of Jonesboro for the sum of Eight Thousand Dollars ($8,000.00).
