A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO ACCEPT THE BID AND ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER TO TEMPLE, INC. FOR FURNISHING GPS PREEMPTION EQUIPMENT AND MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE - BID NO. 2014:22

Body

WHEREAS, , the City of Jonesboro has desires to accept the bid and issue a Purchase Order for GPS Preemption Equipment and Management Software;

WHEREAS, the bidder and the firm selected to furnish the GPS Preemption Equipment and Management Software is Temple, Inc.;                   

WHEREAS, funding for the purchase shall come from the general fund and street fund and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the Purchase Order and Bid No. 2014:22.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

Section 1:  That the City of Jonesboro shall accept the bid and issue a Purchase Order to Temple, Inc. for the purchase of GPS Preemption Equipment and Management Software.

Section 2.  That funding for the purchase shall come from general fund and street fund and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the Purchase Order and Bid No. 2014:22.

Section 3.  The Mayor is hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to issue a Purchase Order.
