A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK TO ACCEPT THE PROPERTY DONATED BY THE DOWNTOWN JONESBORO IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT #1 (ALSO KNOWN AS JONESBORO CENTRAL BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT #1)

WHEREAS, , the Downtown Jonesboro Improvement District #1 (also known as Jonesboro Central Business Improvement District #1) desires to donate and the City of Jonesboro wishes to accept the following described property to the City of Jonesboro:
Lots 8, 9, 10, 26, 27, and the North 23 feet of lot 25 of Cate's Subdivision of Block 17 of Flint's Addition to the City of Jonesboro; and Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 of I. O. Hughes Subdivision of Lots 5, 6, 7, and the West 13.7 feet of lot 4 of Cate's Subdivision of Block 17 of Flint's Addition to the City of Jonesboro; all of the above is less and except that part transferred to Arkansas State Highway Commission by Warranty Deed recorded in Book 286 Page 749 on February 19, 1981.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
Section 1: The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to accept the Quitclaim Deed dated July 16, 2014.
