A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A LOCATION AGREEMENT FOR THE “WELCOME TO JONESBORO” SIGN ON HWY. 49 NORTH

WHEREAS, the widening of HWY. 49 North has resulted in the need to relocate the “Welcome to Jonesboro” signage along this route; and

WHEREAS, Team C of the 2008 Leadership Jonesboro Class has worked with Mr. Charles Onstead of CEO & Associates to negotiate a 10 year location agreement for this signage; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Charles Onstead of CEO & Associates has agreed to the 10 year location agreement without any charge to the City of Jonesboro.

Now therefore, be it resolved, by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that:

The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute and accept such documents as are necessary to effectuate this agreement.
