A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH HAYWOOD, KENWARD, BARE & ASSOCIATES, INC. TO PROVIDE LAND SURVEYOR SERVICES RELATED TO THE RACE STREET IMPROVEMENTS;

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has desires to enter into a contract to provide land surveyor services related to the Race Street Improvements;

WHEREAS, Haywood, Kenward, Bare & Associates, Inc. have submitted to the City of Jonesboro a proposed Lump Sum amount of $40,000.00 for services “a” through “d”; a Lump Sum amount of $10,500.00 for services “e” and “f”; and, a Lump Sum amount of $4,500.00 for service “g”.  Services are detailed in the attached contract;

WHEREAS, the funding for land surveyor services related to the Race Street Improvements shall be paid in accordance with the contract terms;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

SECTION 1:                     That the City of Jonesboro shall enter into a contract with Haywood, Kenward, Bare & Associates, Inc. to provide Land Surveyor Services related to the Race Street Improvements for the Lump Sum amount of $40,000.00 for services “a” through “d”; a Lump Sum amount of $10,500.00 for services “e” and “f”; and, a Lump Sum amount of $4,500.00 for service “g”.  Services are detailed in the attached contract.

SECTION 2:                     The funding for land surveyor services related to the Race Street Improvements shall be paid in accordance with the contract terms.

SECTION 3:                     The Mayor, Doug Formon, and the City Clerk, Donna K. Jackson, are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
