AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE AND ABANDON UNIMPROVED PORTION OF DRAINAGE EASEMENT ON LOTS LOCATED IN RIDGE RUN PHASE II ADDITION.

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that:
SECTION 1: The City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates and abandons all of its rights, together with the rights of the public generally, in and to the drainage easement designated as follows:
The westerly 15' of the easterly 25' of Lot 30, the easterly 15' of the westerly 25' of Lot 31, the westerly 15' of the easterly 25' of Lot 35, and the easterly 15' of the westerly 25' of Lot 36 all of Ridge Run Phase II.
SECTION 2: A copy of the ordinance certified by the City Clerk shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Craighead County, Arkansas and shall be filed in the deed records of such office.
SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas finds and declares that the above drainage easement is not necessary for the general benefit and welfare of the public; that the owners of all the property abutting the above drainage easement is in favor of the closure and vacation of the above described drainage easement and that therefore an emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
