AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR THE SALE OF CITY PROPERTY UPON A BID BASIS AND TO ESTABLISH THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF PROPERTY TO BE SOLD AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
Section 1: The following described vehicles are to be sold by the City of Jonesboro upon a bid basis. The following motor vehicles are to be sold by the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

Section 2: The above vehicles which are sold shall be sold for cash and shall be sold to the highest bidder.
Section 3: It is found and declared by the City Council that the above property is no longer needed by the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas and that it is necessary to sell this property in order to acquire funds for the purchase of additional equipment and therefore, this ordinance is needed for the preservation of the public peace, health, and safety an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
