RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE ABANDONMENT OF GUY STREET

BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

WHEREAS, a Petition has been filed by Mrs. Minnie Miller, George F. Baldwin, Jr., Marie L Baldwin, and Mrs. S. A. Reesor praying that Guy Street between Lots 1 and 7, Block A, Roleson’s Addition, and Lot 16 and17 of Cobb and Lee’s Survey of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 22, Township 14 North, Range 4 East (Nettleton Township). Jonesboro, Arkansas, be abandoned;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, give notice by publication once a week for two weeks in some newspaper published in Craighead County advising the property owners affected that on the 24^th day of October, 1960, the Council will hear the said Petition and determine whether such property shall be abandoned as a street and whether the abutting property owners and other persons directly interested have consented to such abandonment.
