AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 954, THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO REZONE FROM RESIDENTIAL (R-1) TO COMMERCIAL (C-5) FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2205 AND 2207 RACE STREET

WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission has heard all persons desiring to be heard regarding the proposed rezoning of certain property generally located at 2205 and 2207 Race Street and has recommended to the City Council rezoning as described below:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
That Ordinance No. 954, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is hereby amended by the change in zoning district classifications, from Residential (R-1), to Commercial (C-5) for the following described property:
Lots 7 and 8 in Block A Spence Subdivision of a part of the NE 3, SE 3 Section 29, T14N-R4E, Jonesboro, Arkansas
