RESOLUTION TO INCREASE MONTHLY GARBAGE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL FEES

Be it resolved by the City of Jonesboro that the fees charged and paid for the collection and disposal of garbage is currently $1.50 per month for each single family residence, flat, apartment or housekeeping unit; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that an increase in these monthly dues is advisable due to increase of costs of collecting garbage.
It is therefore hereby resolved that the monthly fees to be charged and paid for the collection and disposal of garbage for each single family residence, flat, apartment, or housekeeping unit be increased from $1.50 per month to $2.00 per month effective April 1, 1968.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 18th day of March, 1968.
