Minutes for the City Council meeting on August 21, 1969

The City Council met in recessed session, Thursday, August 21, 1969, at 5:30 p.m. There were present: Pierce, Turner, Dr. Bowers, Young, Stricklin, Minx, Bowers, Williams, Johnson and Knight. Absent: Pardew and Darling.
Dr. Bowers moved with Mr. Pierce seconding the motion that the bid from Howe Fire Apparatus Company for a 100 foot ladder aerial quint be accepted at a cost of $65,000. All members present voted aye and the motion carried. Motion included that the chassis be purchased for $9,833.00 plus frt. from Ryburn.
No further business, Council voted unanimously to adjourn.
