A RESOLUTION TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH CARTER & BURGESS, INC. FOR ADDITIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR CLOMR FOR BRIDGE REPLACEMENT ON MATTHEWS AVENUE AND HESTER STREET OVER CHRISTIAN CREEK;

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has desires to enter into a contract to conduct additional hydraulic modeling and preparation of a CLOMR for a bridge replacement on Matthews Avenue and Hester Street over Christian Creek;
WHEREAS, Carter & Burgess, Inc. have submitted to the City of Jonesboro a proposed fee of $9,500.00 for additional engineering services for CLOMR;
WHEREAS, the funding for additional engineering services for CLOMR shall come fro 07-100-0152-00 and compensation shall be provided upon completion of the project;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
SECTION 1: That the City of Jonesboro shall enter into a contract with Carter & Burgess, Inc. in the amount of $9,500.00 to conduct additional hydraulic and modeling and preparation of a CLOMR for a bridge replacement on Matthews Avenue and Hester Street over Christian Creek
SECTION 2: The funding for the execution of the contract shall come from 07-100-0152-00 and compensation shall be provided upon completion of the project
SECTION 3: The Mayor, Doug Formon, and the City Clerk, Donna K. Jackson, are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
