WHEREAS, Sage Meadows Development Company has filed a Petition with the City Clerk of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas requesting that the City abandon two five foot utility easements and a 60 foot road right of way located in Sage Meadows, Phase I, near the intersection of Western Gales Drive and Western Gales Cove; and  

WHEREAS, the Petition has been presented to the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; AND

WHEREAS, Arkansas law requires notice of such public hearing.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that the City Clerk is directed to publish a notice advising the public of such request to vacate and abandon the above mentioned easements and road right of way and that this matter will be heard before the City Council on February 7, 2000 at 6:00 o'clock p.m. at the Huntington Building, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
