AN ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH A FEE SCHEDULE FOR ITEMS SUBMITTED TO THE METROPOLITAN AREA PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS (NOTE: THIS ORDINANCE WAS AMENDED BY ORD-84:1681 ON MAY 21, 1984)

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
 
Section 1: The following fees shall be charged for the following items submitted to the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission:
 
A. A fee of $6.00 per plat plus .60¢ per lot shall be collected with a preliminary plan is submitted to the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission.
B. A fee of $6.00 per re-plat plus .60¢ per lot shall be collected for each re-plat that does not require a preliminary plat.
C. A fee of $30.00 shall be collected for each change of zoning classification requested.
D. A fee of $10.00 shall be collected for each property development plan submitted to the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission.
 
Section 2: The following fees shall be payable at the time the aforementioned items are submitted to the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission and said fee shall be payable at the City Collectors Office, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
 
Section 3: All Ordinances and or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
 
Section 4: It is found and declared by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that this Ordinance is necessary in order to defray the actual expense of the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission and that such fees will inure to the benefit of the operation of the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission and shall increase the efficiency and productivity of said Commission; Therefore, this Ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
 
PASSED and ADOPTED this 1st day of March, 1976.
