Waste Reductions Technologies, LLC. (WRT) was awarded the contract for the purchase of a waste incinerator and was signed on March 11, 2010. The contract amount is for $450,000 and the design, assemble, fabricate, install and construct a suitable incinerator at the City’s location of choice within 120 days of the execution of this agreement. The ordinance waiving competitive bidding and authorizing the purchase of the incinerator is ORD-09:067 and was approved by the City Council on September 15, 2009. The resolution authorizing the contract is RES-09:153 and was approved by the City Council on October 20, 2009.
