RESOLUTION TO ORDER GUY GRIFFIN TO REPAIR THE SIDEWALK IN FRONT OF HIS PROPERTY AT 108 E. HUNTINGTON ACCORDING TO THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS OF THE CITY

RESOLVED, that Section 20-13 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Jonesboro provides for the procedure to be followed for requiring the property owners to repair and grade sidewalks upon which their property is abutting, and
WHEREAS, the property owned by Mr. Guy Griffin located at 108 E. Huntington in the City of Jonesboro is in a dilapidated condition and in need of repair and that it is of an improper grade so as to cause great damage to automobiles attempting to use the parking facilities on the street in front of the property; it is to the best interest of the City of Jonesboro that the grade of the sidewalk be reduced and that the dilapidated condition of the sidewalk be repaired and it is the duty of the owner of said property to repair said sidewalk and reduce the grade according to the specifications of the City.
It is hereby resolved by the City of Jonesboro, that Guy Griffin is ordered by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, to repair and accomplish other work to the sidewalk located in front of his property at 108 E. Huntington in the City of Jonesboro, pursuant and according to the plans and specifications of the City of Jonesboro, which are attached hereto. The Mayor shall serve a copy of this resolution upon the said Guy Griffin pursuant to the law and that the said Guy Griffin is ordered to accomplish the work or work with the City in accomplishing the work as specified in the attached plans and specifications and that said work should commence within ten days after the service of a copy of this resolution upon the said Guy Griffin.
If the owner of the property shall fail to begin repairing or grading of the same within ten days after notice, the Mayor is empowered to and given the authority to cause such work to be done at the expense of the City. The expense...
